One look at Guerdy Abraira’s Instagram feed makes it clear that she tends to style events with “color overload,” as she put it in an October 2021 post. However, The Real Housewives of Miami cast member takes a totally different approach to the design of her Florida home.

“As a party planner, you probably thought I was going to have so much color in my house,” Guerdy says in the video above while showing her formal living room, which is decorated primarily in creamy white and gray hues with black accents. “But everything in here is tone on tone, because I need to come to a zen space. It’s perfect.”

Like much of the house, the primary bedroom is designed in a similar color palette. “I just adore the fact that it’s just very peaceful,” Guerdy explains as she shows the room’s bed, sitting area, and a custom piece built by her husband, Russell Abraira. “The best thing about [the] room,” however, is that it leads to her “super woman zen zone,” where bright colors are most definitely encouraged. As she excitedly walks into the space, which you can see in the clip, she declares, “This is when Guerdy becomes Guerd-ay!”
