Guide to Chrisley podcasts: Almost every family member has one

In 2023, it was the year of the Chrisleys, just not for the best reasons.

In June 2022 when multimillionaire real estate tycoons Todd and Julie Chrisley were found guilty of committing tax evasion and defrauding community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans. Julie Chrisley was additionally convicted of obstruction of justice and wire fraud.

In September, the disgraced reality TV stars' prison sentences were reduced. Todd's release date from FPC Pensacola in Florida is currently set for Dec. 8, 2032, making his sentence a little over two years shorter than his original 12 years. Julie's release from FMC Lexington in Kentucky is set for Sept. 4, 2028, about one year earlier than her original release date.

Todd Chrisley has five children; two with his first wife, high school sweetheart Teresa Terry, and three children with his second wife Julie. Most of the family featured on their hit series "Chrisley Knows Best" on USA Network, which followed Todd and their family's lavish lifestyle in Atlanta and Nashville.

Throughout this year, many fans have been using the family's favorite form of communication to get updated on their sentences and to also go back to better times — podcasts!

Here's a guide to every podcast the family have ever made so far.

Chrisley Confessions

The OG Chrisley podcast — Chrisley Confessions.

Hosted by Todd and Julie Chrisley, the pair would listen to listen to viewers' voicemails and offer advice, suggestions, and opinions. They'd also have their family members on some episodes, sometimes tackling harder subjects like Lindsie's distance from the family or Kyle's sobriety.

The couple did record a final message for their listeners in a podcast episode taped on Jan. 10, 2023. According to Entertainment Tonight, the couple shared their thoughts with their listeners before they officially surrendered and began their prison sentences a week later.

Todd states that although things have been rough, they could be worse. "Rough is all in perspective. Some people would say we haven't had a rough week," he says. "Lots of stuff going on. We are blessed to get up every day with God giving us the renewed energy to continue the fight we are fighting and to allow us to move forward."

Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley

Started in October of 2022, Savannah Chrisley started her own podcast to break down the emotional walls she has built through a decade of reality television. Even from the first episode of "Unlocked with Savnnah Chrisley," she touches on accusations and scandals surrounding her family.

Since her parents entered their respective prisons, Savannah has used her podcasts to talk about their negative experiences so far and shine a light on prison reform. In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight, Savannah told reporters that her father is now being unfairly targeted due to her speaking out against their conditions.

"It's been really tough (for them) since I started speaking out about everything," Savannah told the outlet. "That's been the toughest part. More so for Dad. There's been a lot of retaliation, so we have to worry [about him]."

Okay, this one might barely count since its last episode was in 2016. But if you want a glimpse into the Chrisley's world before all their scandals and right as they were starting to just hit their peak of fame, it's great relic for any reality show super fan.

The podcast is hosted by the second oldest son of the Chrisley clan, Chase. In the episode, he discusses pop culture and his own life with celebrity guests, including his own family members. Todd Chrisley makes an appearance in three of the episodes.

The Southern Tea

The oldest Chrisley sibling, Lindsie Chrisley, used her podcast to discuss all things "southern" life.

From faith and family to hot "tea," Lindsie has maintained a more relaxed vibe to her podcast and only delves into her own personal life. The description says that she swears to "spill the tea, the whole tea, and nothing but the tea."

However, she did discuss what it was like visiting her parents in prison during an April episode, saying it was hard for her.

"One of my biggest concerns was the access to televisions, and a question that I asked you [was], 'Do you think people have seen Chrisley Knows Best that are serving time in these camps?' " Lindsie said. "And simply the answer, I know the answer now, is yes."

Does Kyle Chrisley or Grayson Chrisley have a podcast?

Unlike their parents and siblings, neither the oldest or youngest Chrisley sons have their own podcasts.

However, 17-year-old Grayson has joined his sister, Savannah, on her podcast to talk about the aftermath of their parents going to federal prison. In June, Grayson said on Savannah's podcast that having his parents in prison was worse than them dying.

“Because they’re here, but they’re not here. So it’s just time that’s being wasted,” he said. “I’m saying, like, if they died, there’s no possibility of you getting any more time with them. So it’s over."
