STAUNTON — There are 60 plus women-owned businesses in Staunton. Get to know them at Staunton's first event to celebrate the contributions of women to the Queen City.

What to expect

The citywide event — taking place Saturday, March 11 — will feature pop-up shops, maker demonstrations, musical events, and other activities hosted by participating downtown Staunton businesses that specifically showcase local women entrepreneurs, artists, makers, musicians and community advocates.

How the day begins

Yoga instructors Noelia Nunez and Uma White will host a morning yoga session at the Staunton iHub beginning at 9 a.m.

The session will begin with Noelia Nunez guiding practitioners through a gentle vinyasa flow followed by a Nidra practice led by Uma White.

At the conclusion, class attendees will have an opportunity to socialize and connect over Uma's refreshing herbal tea blends.

Staunton will be hosting its first Queen City Women's Day on March 11 in downtown Staunton.
