Gulf Breeze Hospital Auxiliary recognizes over 60 volunteers for service and dedication

Escambia County hosts Community Outreach Day

The office of Florida House Representative Michelle Salzman, in partnership with local, state, and federal officials, will host in-person Mobile Office Hours to assist constituents with state and federal casework issues from 1 to 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 3 at the Pensacola Interstate Fairgrounds, 6655 Mobile Highway.

These office hours offer constituents who do not live close to one of the district offices a more convenient way to receive state, federal, county and VA casework assistance.

In addition to elected offices, the event will host several personnel from the Pensacola VA Clinic who will be able to provide health checkups to veterans, assist with VA healthcare questions and enrollment, and recruit nurses and resident assistants. They will be joined by several non-profits offering services to children, veterans, and residents of Escambia County.

Participants include district staff from the offices of Rep. Salzman, Congressman Gaetz, Sen. Scott, Sen. Rubio, Commissioner Jeff Bergosh, Commissioner Mike Kohler, tax collector Scott Lunsford, school board member Kevin Adams, ECUA personnel, agency personnel from the Pensacola VA Clinic, as well as many community partners and non-profits.

Refreshments will be provided by Coffee Guy.
