Gulf Coast of Alabama Flooded as Hurricane Sally Hits

Hurricane Sally made landfall as a Category 2 storm in Alabama in the early morning of September 16, packing maximum steady winds of 100 mph, reports said.

The National Hurricane Center said “historic and catastrophic flooding” was likely in parts of northwest Florida and southern Alabama.
