Guntown woman facing drug charges after traffic stop
Feb. 24—TUPELO — A Lee County woman is facing multiple felony charges after being pulled over late Thursday night.
Lee County deputy sheriffs and North Mississippi Narcotics Unit agents initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle in the Guntown area Feb. 23. The driver not only had a felony amount of methamphetamine in her possession, she also had an active arrest warrant with the Lee County Sheriff's Department.
Alexandra Gabrielle Patterson, 29, of County Road 503, Guntown, was charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute. Deputies also served the arrest warrant, charging her with obtaining personal information for unlawful use.
In addition to those charges, Patterson is also under indictment for possession of methamphetamine dating back to an October 2022 arrest.
During her initial appearance, a Lee County Justice Court Judge set bond at $50,000.
