Gust of Wind from Hurricane Delta Sends Trampolines Flying in Louisiana

Trampolines were blown about during strong winds when Hurricane Delta made landfall near Lafayette, Louisiana, on October 9.

Robby Ancelet’s home security cameras recorded his trampoline being blown away and a neighbour’s trampoline rolling into his yard during the powerful winds.

“Well, after surviving many other hurricanes. Our trampoline in the first video went flying. Only to get another one from our neighbours,” Ancelet’s wife wrote on her Facebook page that showed the video.

According to reports, winds blasted up to 100 miles per hour near the Texas-Louisiana border and brought six to 12 inches of rain between Lake Charles and Alexandria when Delta hit the US on Friday. Credit: Robby Ancelet via Storyful
