Gutterglove moves headquarters to Franklin after $5.4 million investment in Rutherford County

Gutterglove, a California-based manufacturing company, is set to relocate its corporate headquarters to Franklin. The company will invest $720,800 and create 20 new jobs through the move, according to the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce.

“Gutterglove is excited about our relocation to Williamson County," Gutterglove CEO Matt Smith said. "As an innovation company focused on products, programs and technology for the home improvement space, this move will allow us to continue expanding on our vision of 'Protecting Every Gutter on Every Home.'"

Gutterglove manufactures professional grade stainless steel gutter guards. In 2020, the company invested $5.4 million to expand manufacturing operations in Rutherford County, according to the Williamson County Chamber of Commerce. That investment created 85 new jobs in La Vergne.

Other California-based corporations have targeted Williamson County for expansion in 2021. Kaiser Aluminum, a $1.3 billion manufacturing company based in Southern California, announced in July it would invest $3 million in a new Franklin headquarters.

“This news shows once again how our status as a business-friendly state, excellent infrastructure, talented workforce and high quality of life make Williamson County the best place to invest," Senate Majority Leader Jack Johnson (R-Franklin) said in a news release announcing Gutterglove's move. "We look forward to Gutterglove locating their headquarters here and creating quality new jobs and opportunities for Tennesseans."
