Flavortown is coming to Phoenix. Guy Fieri, the celebrity chef and Food Network star famous for his traveling food show "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives," announced plans for a new restaurant downtown. A collaboration between the Arizona Diamondbacks and Caesars Entertainment, Inc., the restaurant will be located at the newly opened Caesars Sportsbook at Chase Field.

Once sports betting began in Arizona on Sept. 9, 2021, venues for placing bets started popping up around the state. At Chase Field, Caesars Sportsbook is a 20,000 square-foot, two-story concept with indoor and outdoor seating and a full bar. Fieri's new restaurant will anchor the venue, according to a press release.

Fieri has shown Arizona lots of love over the years

Fieri is no stranger to Arizona. He's visited more than two dozen restaurants throughout the state and, over the years, has featured many metro Phoenix restaurants on his shows, including north Phoenix favorite Chino Bandido.

He's also an Arizona sports fan, seen with his son at the Suns' 2021 playoff games leading up to the NBA finals.
