Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton Fuel Romance Rumors

Well, this isn’t going to do much to dispel those hookup rumors.

Despite denying anything romantic is going on between them, Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani were caught getting touchy-feely over the weekend. E! News obtained photos of The Voice coaches getting close at Adam Levine and Maroon 5’s Halloween party on Saturday. The cozy shots come on the heels of a PDA-filled weekend between the two.

Shelton, 39, and Stefani, 46, were photographed leaving Jared Leto’s Halloween bash together on Friday night. Gwen, who reportedly settled her divorce with Gavin Rossdale last week, was dressed as a sexy, bloody cowgirl and seen smiling as she hopped into an awaiting car with her Voice co-judge, who wore a colorful poncho and trucker hat. Blake, who divorced Miranda Lambert in July, looked pretty smitten as well. This was their second party of the evening as they hit up a Casamigos soiree earlier that night.

Sources at Leto’s bash tell Yahoo Celebrity they were “definitely flirty” throughout the party.

“It seemed like they were more than friends,” one partygoer says. “They came and left together and held hands at one point. He even held her place in line for the bathroom.”

Waiting in line for your maybe-date… how’s that for some modern romance?!

One source that works with the pair on their hit NBC show isn’t surprised “at all” by the latest buzz.

“They have great chemistry and rapport off camera,” says a production insider. “They seem to have a natural flirtation.”

So is it just friendly flirtation or something more?

“They have been spending a lot of alone time together,” a Hollywood insider tells People, adding that at Leto’s Halloween shindig Gwen and Blake “hung out, but were just totally friendly. They were hanging with a group of friends. It was not just the two of them alone.”

“They are good friends,” adds a Shelton insider. “The coaches are a close-knit group and share a unique bond.”

Meanwhile, E!’s source claims “something is going on between them.”

“They don’t want to label anything or define it, they just really like each other and happen to be going through similar things in their lives,” says a source. “Gwen has spent time at Blake’s house in the Hollywood Hills recently. They want it to stay under the radar and not make it a big public thing because who knows what will happen.”

As for what Stefani is saying on the matter, she briefly touched on it while chatting with The Voice host Carson Daly on Monday.

“I was literally that party girl that you hear about when their life blows up, and you’re like, ‘Yeah! I’m going out! Like, watch me!’” she explained. “We’re just trying to have fun. You know?”

Stefani added: “My life is so extreme right now… My life basically blew up in my face. And now I’m in this new life, and it’s pretty awesome I have to say — I’m so inspired and being back on the show, and just being in a new place. Everything just feels new. I just feel inspired. I don’t know how else to describe it.”

The “Hollaback Girl” singer continued to dish about her “new life” during her On Air With Ryan Seacrest appearance Tuesday. When Seacrest turned the conversation to Shelton, Stefani innocently asked, “Who’s Blake? Oh, the country guy.”

Seacrest also asked her point blank if the relationship rumors about her and Blake were true. “I’m not going to answer that right now, Ryan. I think I’ve given enough of myself this morning to you,” Stefani said. “But I think he’s hot, don’t you?”

On a more serious note, Stefani admitted that Shelton has played a key role in helping her move on.

“To be super honest, it is kind of crazy we both went through the same thing at the same time,” she said. “There’s been so many people that I’ve gotten so much comfort from. Just people coming to me and telling me their story. Not confiding, but sharing, which has just helped me see things from a different perspective and move forward.”

Gwen and Rossdale, 50, announced in August they were splitting after 13 years of marriage. They have three sons: Kingston, 9; Zuma, 7; and Apollo, 20 months.

Blake and Lambert, 31, also announced they were ending their marriage this past summer. The country music power duo wed in May 2011 after five years of dating. The exes will come face to face on Wednesday at the CMA Awards.

As for what’s really going on with Gwen and Blake, we’re sure fans will be watching quite closely when the live playoffs begin next week.
