Gwen Stefani Just Debuted a Bob and Bangs
It's been a hot minute since Gwen Stefani has spiced up her signature platinum-blonde hair, but this week the singer-songwriter debuted a totally new look that fans definitely weren't expecting: a bob. That's right, The Voice coach showed up to work with a subtly textured long bob. But that isn't all. Stefani's new look includes bangs — and they're super blunt to boot.
The hair makeover comes courtesy of stylist Robert Vetica, who posted an amazing snapshot of the singer on Instagram. According to his caption, he used Leonor Greyl products and Harry Josh tools to achieve Stefani's subtly wavy style.
What's more, it seems that Vetica likely used a wig on Stefani rather than cutting her hair because he didn't note anything about the cut itself in the caption — that, and the comment on the photo from Debra Messing: "I want that wig!!!!" And the stylist liked her response.
Stefani also shared photos of her short hair moment and fans are obsessed, of course. One Instagram user commented on the post, "And now I want to chop off my hair!!!" while another offered, "Really beautiful look Gwen."
It’s always fun to see stars experiment with new hairstyles, especially when they rarely stray from their signature look. Who knows? Maybe this stint with shorter hair will convince Stefani to cut it for real, but the singer looks stunning no matter what style she’s wearing.
