Gwyneth Paltrow Just Posted a Pic of Her Daughter Without Asking and Their Interaction Was So Awkward

Gwyneth Paltrow, a cool mom™️, just committed the ultimate parent faux pas: posting a picture of her daughter on Instagram without asking for approval first.

She posted this selfie of her and her daughter Apple, 14, from a ski trip. The caption, "🍎⛷❤️," gets points for cleverness, IMO.

Harmless, right? Apparently not. Apple commented on the picture, writing, “Mom we have discussed this. You may not post anything without my consent,” like the true teenager she is. Gwyneth responded, “you can’t even see you face!”

Apple has a good point, though. You can't just let your parents post whatever the hell they want on social media. That's how pictures of your embarrassing, terribly awkward teenage years end up on the internet for the entire world to see/make fun of you for.

This is even more important when your mom casually has 5.3 million followers on Instagram. Apple needs to protect her brand, okay?

She definitely doesn't have to worry, though. She's already cooler than all of the rest of us combined.
