Gwyneth Paltrow Launches Goop at Sea, and You Can Join Her on the Boat
After expanding into the world of TV with its new Netflix documentary, Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop is now also entering the travel sphere by hosting a one-day workshop on board a cruise travelling around the Mediterranean.
Paltrow will be on board for the experience, in conversation with Goop's head of content, Elise Loehnen for a talk. Other activities will include a mind, body, and then a soul session, followed by a powerful speech from a "cultural changer" to end the day.
Guests will be able to pay just under £600 on top of the cruise price (which starts from about £4,000) in order to attend the events put on throughout the day.
"This partnership with Celebrity Cruises allows us to bring Goop to new audiences and to meet readers where they are," Paltrow explained. "Goop’s brand DNA is based in curiosity, and curiosity is an essential component of travel."
"With Goop at Sea, we’ll be invoking that adventurous spirit with a series of transformative experiences led by a few of our most-trusted wellness practitioners and healers."
This new venture for the wellness business comes after its first foray into TV, The Goop Lab, which just launched on Netflix.
The company is known for constantly pushing the boundaries in the world of wellness with its tagline: "Testing the waters so you don't have to." This includes a vagina candle, which was released last week and rapidly sold out.
Goop At Sea will be taking place on 26 August from Barcelona. For more information about the cruise, head this way.
