H.S. basketball: Glenn, Triton earn wins in Bi-County boys tournament semifinals

LAKEVILLE — Unbeaten Glenn rolled to a semifinal win Friday night in the TCU Bi-County Tournament semifinals at LaVille.

The Class 3A No. 2 Falcons topped New Prairie 70-20.

Glenn, which beat the Cougars 69-36 on Jan. 6, led 20-2 after the opening period of play en route to improving to 14-0 on the season.

Noah Dreibelbeis scored a career-high 24 points to lead the Falcons. Brycen Hannah had 16 points for Glenn.

Triton edged past Bremen 53-49 in the other semifinal matchup.

Tyson Yates scored 21 points to lead the Trojans, who improved to 9-2. Bruce Johnson had 14 points and Ashton Oviedo 10 for Triton.

Tony Hardin led Bremen with 17 points.

Glenn and Triton were set to play for the boys title Saturday night after the Tribune's print deadline. In the girls Bi-County final, New Prairie was to set to battle Bremen. Both game were at LaVille. Visit southbendtribune.com for complete coverage of those games.
