Feb. 22—Kaiden Herron scored 13 of his game-high 19 points in the second half as the Jim Thorpe boys' basketball team surged past Panther Valley 73-44 in a Schuylkill League Division I makeup game played on Sunday.
Caiden Hurley added 16 points for the Olympians, who outscored PV 45-18 in the second half to take control after leading by just two (28-26) at intermission.
Mike Pascoe had 14 points to pace Panther Valley.
