Amanda-Clearcreek 9, Berne Union 2: The score was tied, 2-2, after the first inning before the Aces began to pull away in their non-conference win over the Rockets.

The Aces plated a run in the second inning and added four more in the third inning to blow the game open.

Trenton Hedges picked up the win as he went six innings, allowing two runs on three hits, while striking out 10.

Hedges, Peyton Cassley, Hunter Matheny, Landon Mills, and Kansas Rhymer had one hit each for the Aces.

Nate Homan took the loss in one-plus innings of work as he allowed three runs on one hit and struck out two. Cade Pugh and Austin Snyder also pitched for the Rockets.

Sammy Amnah and Tylor Tipple had one hit and scored one run each and Russ Blank also had a hit for the Rockets (14-4-1).

Liberty Union 8, Fairfield Union 5: The Falcons fell short in their final Mid-State League-Buckeye Division game against the Lions.

Ronnie Rowley and Zach Kimball both pitched for the Falcons. Offensively, Owen Morgan had four hits to lead the way. Malachi Palmer finished with two hits, while Rowley, Kyle Wolfe and Wyatt West added one hit each.
