H.S. ROUNDUP: Hingham High baseball team scores come-from-behind win over Weymouth

The Hingham High baseball team spent a total of six innings on the wrong end of a no-hitter Tuesday afternoon.

But the final frame was spent celebrating.

The Harbormen trailed 4-1 in their final half-inning at the plate as Weymouth's Sean Zaslaw had struck out 13 over 6 no-hit innings before departing. In the top of the seventh, Aidan Devlin's two-out ground ball then cleared the loaded bases to plate three runs, as Hingham scored a come-from-behind 6-4 victory over the Wildcats.

Chris Volpe earned the win on the mound and Alex McGowan fanned two Weymouth batters in the bottom of the seventh inning for the save for Hingham (2-3). The Harbormen will play Archbishop Williams on Thursday at 2 p.m. in the Weymouth baseball tournament championship game.
