GIRLS BASKETBALL

Berne Union 47, Miller 9: After losing a pair of close games, the Lady Rockets got back on track in their Mid-State League-Cardinal Division win to remain in first place in the league.

The Rockets improved to 10-2 overall and 7-1 in MSL play. They were led by Mina Gronbach, who had 13 points. Sophia Kline scored 11 points, Baylee Mirgon had eight and Lauren Groves chipped in six points.

Liberty Union 66, Logan Elm 19: The Lions used a balanced scoring attack in their Mid-State League-Buckeye Division win over the Braves.

Delaney Peck led the way with 16 points, Ella Brown had 14, Alexis Leith finished with 10 and Maddie Savage added nine points.

Bloom-Carroll 56, Hamilton Township 16: The Bulldogs (12-3) cruised in their Mid-State League-Buckeye Division win over the Rangers. No other information was available.

Amanda-Clearcreek 71, Circleville 70: The Aces (11-5) hit a last-second shot to pull out their Mid-State League-Buckeye Division win over the host Tigers. No other information was available.
