H.S. Volleyball top performers & results, Sept. 22-24

Here are the best of the best from another week of high school volleyball action in and around the Panhandle.

Kaylie Ledbetter and Jo Moffitt, Amarillo High

The Lady Sandies defeated Caprock in three sets behind the duo of Ledbetter and Moffitt. Ledbetter had 14 digs, three aces and three assists while Moffitt notched 32 assists, five aces and two blocks.

Meredith Sanning and Megan Sims, Tascosa

Sanning totaled a team-high 32 assists to pair with two blocks while Sims led the Lady Rebels with 10 kills and four blocks in a three-set win over Plainview.

Precious Johnson and Erin Mims, Palo Duro

Johnson and Mims tied for the team-lead with 13 kills in a three-set win over Plains. Johnson added five blocks to her stat line while Mims contributed four digs.

Camryn Blair, Hereford

Blair finished the three-set sweep of West Plains on Saturday with seven kills and a team-high four blocks. This followed a Thursday performance against Dumas that included a team-high 16 kills and three blocks.

Jordyn Gove and Brooke Henderson, Randall

The Lady Raiders frontline pairing combined for 30 kills and 18 digs in a sweep of West Plains.

Mikalie Floyd and Maecie Hawthorne, Pampa

The Lady Harvesters defeated Borger in three sets as senior outside hitter Floyd totaled 16 kills, nine digs and two aces. Sophomore setter Hawthorne ended the match with 21 assists, eight digs and five aces.

Halie Coon, Dumas

The Demonettes defeated Perryton in three sets behind Coon's six kills, nine assists and two aces.

Elli Bezner and Dylan Moore, Dalhart

Bezner had 14 assists, 11 digs, four aces and two kills in a win over River Road. Moore added six blocks, five kills, five digs and two aces in a productive day on the court.

Madyson Eberly and Kenzie Sims, Bushland

Eberly did her usual thing leading the Lady Falcons with nine kills and three blocks at the net in a win over Friona. Sims added 18 assists and four aces in the sweep.

Kyra Courtemanche and Mercedes Harton, Highland Park

The Lady Hornets dynamic duo had another impressive performance in a sweep of Memphis. Courtemanche recorded 16 kills and five aces while Harton pitched in 29 assists, nine aces and two blocks.

Sage Lay, West Texas High

Lay led the Lady Comanches with seven kills in a sweep of Vega this past weekend.
