Hacky sacking on the pier

Feb. 16—NEW LONDON — Dennis Grills of Mystic works through moves with a hacky sack ball along New London's Waterfront Park Thursday, February 16, 2023.

Grills said he took the day off work when he noticed the warm weather and added that the pier is one of his favorite places to hacky sack. "It's a harder cardio than running," he said as he caught his breath on a break, "keeping up with this ball is a full on sprint."

He has been hacky sacking for most of his life and listens to music for motivation. Today he was listening to Tupac.
