Hailey Baldwin is stressing the importance of mental health a week after husband Justin Bieber asked for fans' prayers, revealing he's been "struggling a lot."

In an interview with People Tuesday, the 22-year-old model said self-care can take many forms, including "eating right, drinking a lot of water and working out."

"It’s really good for your mentality," Baldwin said. "I think your mental health should be No. 1, and it falls to the side a lot."

Baldwin is not the only one to see the importance of self-care, as the discussion surrounding mental health has gradually stepped into the spotlight.

"I think there’s more attention on mental health these days, and I see why and I get why," she said. "I think you have to know what works for you."

Her comments come just days after her new husband opened up about his recent struggles.

In an emotional Instagram post, Bieber, 25, shared that he's in midst of the "most human season I’ve ever been in," adding that he plans to face his challenges "head on."

"Just wanted to keep you guys updated a little bit hopefully what I’m going through will resonate with you guys," Bieber captioned a picture of himself praying with manager Scooter Braun and Kanye West. "Been struggling a lot. Just feeling super disconnected and weird."
