Hailey Bieber’s ‘70s-inspired haircut might actually convince us to get bangs

Few celebs seem to transcend decades when it comes to style quite like Hailey Bieber. Whether she’s paying homage to Princess Diana in a photo shoot or serving up ’80s workout Barbie glam on Halloween, she looks fierce in any throwback look she tries. Now, Bieber is showing us a glimpse of her shoot for the cover of British Vogue‘s October issue, and her ‘70s-style bangs are everything. While celebs like Sophie Turner and Julianne Hough made shaggy hair with bangs the go-to cut for summer, Bieber’s blunt fringe is what we’ll be copying for fall. (They’re a bohemian dream.)

New York City hairstylist Panos Papandrianos worked his magic on the model’s hair, topping off her long, straight but voluminous strands with eye-grazing bangs. In our humble opinion, this is the best way to rock bangs as an adult without hearkening back to the traumatic haircuts of childhood.

Check out a glimpse of her dreamy, boho vibes in a couple of photos from the shoot, as well as a behind-the-scenes shot of Papandrianos getting her camera-ready.

Bieber traveled to her hometown in Hudson Highlands, New York for the shoot, according to style director Dena Giannini. We love everything about the lush, nature-infused shots we’ve seen so far. British Vogue also shared a video in case you want to see Bieber’s bangs in action, proving that it really is possible to rock a blunt fringe and look effortlessly chic and modern.

No word on whether this hairstyle is here to stay, but based on the fact that Bieber is a total hair chameleon (remember when she shocked us with a brunette bob last month?), we know she changes things up at a moment’s notice. Either way, we’re loving this look, and we’re breaking out the vinyl and a pair of scissors to try it ourselves.
