Hailey Bieber Wore 3 Custom Gowns During Her Wedding to Justin Bieber

Who doesn't love options!

Hailey and Justin Bieber may have been legally married since their New York City courthouse wedding in September 2018, but for the mega-famous couple, planning a larger public ceremony was always on the horizon. The Biebers tied the knot for the second time in front of friends and family at the Montage Palmetto Bluff in South Carolina on September 30, and from what we can tell, it was a celebration for the ages.

If you’re going to have two weddings, you might as well pull out all the stops and go big with your dress selection. And that’s exactly what Hailey did, tapping three designers to create custom confections for her epic day. While Justin kept things simple in a white Céline by Hedi Slimane tuxedo that he rocked from ceremony to after-party, his bride switched things up each step of the way. Hailey’s stylist, Maeve Reilly, has shared snaps of all three of Hailey’s wedding looks, and they’re nothing short of iconic.

First on deck was a custom gown created for Hailey by Off-White designer Virgil Abloh, which Hailey wore for the wedding ceremony. She looked every inch the fairy-tale princess in the bespoke mermaid-style dress made entirely of pearl-embroidered lace. The drama factor was upped by the gown’s long sleeves, an off-the-shoulder neckline, and a daringly low scoop back that ended in an equally dramatic train. The standout feature, of course, was Hailey’s cathedral-length veil, which Abloh couldn’t help but put his signature spin on. The words “till death do us part” were stamped on the edge of the veil, rendered in his trademark block lettering and quotation marks.

For the reception, Hailey slipped into two more custom looks. With her hair slicked back into a loose bun, she wore a stunning silk halter dress with a thigh-high slit, designed by Tamara Ralph and Michael Russo of British luxury brand Ralph & Russo, accessorized with pair of strappy Jimmy Choo stiletto heels.

And because receptions are all about dancing, she kicked off her heels and traded her gown for a strappy white silk sheath dress by Vera Wang and a pair of white sneakers. Comfort is key, especially when you’re tearing up that dance floor!

In case anyone had any doubts about who the real star of the wedding was, Hailey capped off the night in the ultimate badass bridal accessory: a custom leather jacket by Céline emblazoned with the word wife across the back, a wedding gift from Hedi Slimane himself. With all the glam moments, outfit changes, and bespoke fashion, we’re nominating this for wedding of the year — and wishing the happy couple all our very best.
