Hailstones Rain Down on Norman as Severe Storms Sweep Oklahoma

Hailstones rained down on Norman, Oklahoma, on October 10 as a line of severe storms swept through the state bringing multiple confirmed tornadoes and widespread power outages.

At least 10,000 customers were affected by power outages during the storm, according to power utility OG&E’s website. The company said in a Twitter post that it was working to restore power following the storm.

Hail as large as tennis balls, along with possible tornadoes and damaging winds of up to 80 mph were expected to impact the Norman area, the National Weather Service said.
