Haines appointed 23rd circuit judge

Nov. 30—CHARLESTON, W.Va. — Meredith Haines has been appointed judge for the 23rd Family Circuit Court, Gov. Jim Justice said Wednesday.

The 23rd circuit includes Mineral, Hampshire and Morgan counties.

Haines, an attorney at Kuhn & Haines law firm in Keyser, will replace Judge Harold Stotler, who plans to retire by the end of the year.

Haines received an associate's degree in political science from Potomac State College in 2001 and a bachelor's in political science from Frostburg State University in 2003. She graduated from West Virginia University College of Law in 2006.
