Effortless Beauty: How To Get Beach Wavy Hair Without Heat

I am the kind of person who takes fifteen minutes to get ready, including making coffee and breakfast. I hate wasting the beginning of my day putting on makeup and I always wake up so eager to start the day that I struggle to find the patience to properly get put together.

That is why I am a huge fan of overnight hairstyles that allow you to wake up looking like an angel and also because I run in the evenings so that is typically when I wash my hair and as you know, most overnight hair styles require damp hair.

This style is the one I use most since it is a super simple way to give yourself beachy, loose waves, without a curling iron!

Step 1: Once your hair is squeaky clean, gently dry it with either a micro fiber towel or an old t-shirt (the absorbent fibers keep your hair from getting too frizzy!)

Step 2: Center part your hair and spritz some thickening tonic into your hair to keep your hair from losing body overnight. I don’t spray my roots, but if you have thicker hair I would recommend it.

Step 3: Then separate each side of your head of hair into two sections and twist those sections around each other until they are tight. You can secure this with a hair elastic and a few bobby pins up and down the twist. Now you are ready for bed.

Step 4: Good morning! All you do now is wake up and apply some dry shampoo to your roots if need be and then gently take out your twists. You can add a little bit of defining whip to help them hold their shape if you want and gently brush them out a bit with a wide toothed comb.

Now go be lazy and have great hair while you’re doing it!
