'Halftime Report' Traders Share Their Thoughts On Simon Property Group, Vodafone And More

On CNBC's "Fast Money Halftime Report," Josh Brown said that Simon Property Group Inc (NYSE: SPG) is not bad as a reopening trade. He doesn't think that the Amazon catalyst is going to have a big impact and he prefers Prologis Inc (NYSE: PLD) in the space.

Jon Najarian bought Vodafone Group Plc (NASDAQ: VOD) a week ago on unusual options activity. The company is planning to spin off the tower unit in Europe, so that is another bullish sign, said Najarian. He would hold on to the stock.

Phillips 66 (NYSE: PSX) is the only energy stock that Karen Firestone owns. It has not been a good stock so far. She likes it because refineries are a very scarce commodity and they are incredibly expensive to build. She thinks it's good that Phillips 66 has started to use recycled material to create fuel.

Degas Wright owns Synopsys, Inc. (NASDAQ: SNPS). He thinks it's fairly priced at its operating cash flow level and he likes its return on assets. He also likes expectations on momentum and he is getting a lot of good readings from the social media on the stock. Wright is planning to hold the stock and he thinks it's a buy at these levels.
