'Halftime Report' Traders Weigh In On Penn National Gaming And Walmart
Jon Najarian spoke on CNBC's "Fast Money Halftime Report" about Penn National Gaming, Inc (NASDAQ: PENN). The stock was initiated as a Buy at Goldman Sachs on Thursday and it moved sharply higher.
Najarian has a long position in the name, but he decided to take of a half of his position on Thursday because calls that he owned would expire on Friday. He would love to set up a long-term position in Penn National Gaming because he thinks that it could double in a year.
Josh Brown said that Walmart Inc (NYSE: WMT) has been a great stock, dating back before the pandemic, when the management decided to become serious about e-commerce. Brown believes that Walmart wins if people continue to buy online or decide to return to shops. He likes the stock.
