MITCHELL — Hall of Fame band Good Rockin’ Tonight will perform live on Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. at the Mitchell Opera House.

Good Rockin’ Tonight works hard to recreate the sights and sounds of what the music scene was like in 1959. Complete with authentic gear, slick suits, classic swagger, and a stunning set list, you’ll be transported back to a time of sock hops, classy cars, poodle skirts and American Bandstand.

nullThe band dishes out copious amounts of heavy hitters of the 1950s like Buddy Holly, Johnny Cash, Eddie Cochrane, Chuck Berry, Little Richard, Jerry Lee Lewis and many more. Regarded as the best 1950s tribute in the South, the guys bring a top notch show wherever they perform.

You can always expect the occasional “duck walk” from front man – Corey Woodlawn, bass spins and tricks from bassist “Big Ernie”, flaming piano solos from ivory man “Hot Sauce” and the best dance beat this side of the Mississippi from drummer “Hawkeye”! So shine your shoes, pick out your best dress, get your hair did, and get ready for the biggest celebration of the year!
