Chloe and Halle Bailey of the Grammy-nominated R&B duo Chloe x Halle have long had each other's backs in both music and sisterhood—and this week, Halle proved that she will have absolutely none of the disrespect that comes her older sister's way.

On Monday afternoon, a user took to Twitter to share their unsolicited two cents on Chloe's appearance amid the buzz surrounding her teasing solo music and embracing a sexier self-image. "I feel like Chloe Bailey is cute but y'all be overhyping shawty," the user wrote. The following day, Halle tweeted back, shutting down their remarks. "Girl let's not start," she wrote in response, alongside a slew of angel and hush emojis. "Be blessed!! God loves you too!!!"

The close-knit sisters have been active and adorably affectionate with one another on the social media platform. Back in March, Halle made it clear to her followers that she'll always protect her sister, writing, "I ride for my sister till the enddd okayyyy."

The duo have proven the extent of their mutual unconditional love and support for one other in real life too. Last September, Halle opened up to Cosmopolitan about how Chloe's unwavering support inspired her to take on the role of Princess Ariel, and that she and her sister experience each other's wins as if they are their own. "Whenever we're apart, I feel like my right arm is missing," she said. "I say this all the time—I'm not sure what I would do if I was by myself going through this whole thing." Chloe has since been "more than proud" of her sister for landing the role and says that she's missed her "every single day" while filming, per Entertainment Tonight. "[Halle] is so beautiful every time we FaceTime, I get chills," she told the outlet. "She will always be my little mermaid.”

Halle's support for Chloe reaches the same extent. "[Chloe] is so beautiful, and I'm so proud of her confidence in herself and her body and inspiring other women to do that as well, because that is so important," Halle told the Los Angeles Times back in March. "Anybody who hates on that can talk to me."
