Halle Berry teases new romance with Grammy-winning musician Van Hunt
Halle Berry is taken. Again!
The Academy Award winner seemingly confirmed her new relationship and the identity of the new man in her life on Thursday.
The announcement came in the form of a titillating Instagram post featuring the 54-year-old beauty wearing a black T-shirt, with Hunt’s name across the chest in an orange-reddish hue.
“Now ya know,” she captioned the post, adding red heart and foot emojis — a reference to the multiple pictures she’s posted of their feet prior to sharing his name.
Hunt, a 50-year-old Grammy Award-winning musician, shared the same snapshot to his Instagram with the caption, “there you go...”
They are both Ohio natives, he from Datyon and she from Cleveland.
The relationship is the actress’ first public one since her marriage to actor Olivier Martinez, with whom she shares a 6-year-old son, Maceo.
Despite the two filing for divorce in October 2015, it has proven to be a lengthy journey and has not yet been finalized.
The “Monsters Ball” star is representing herself in the ongoing legal proceedings.
Prior to Martinez, Berry was married to singer-songwriter Eric Benét from 2001-2005 and baseball player David Justice from 1993-1997.
She was previously romantically linked to actors Wesley Snipes, Shemar Moore and Michael Ealy.
In addition to Maceo, she also has a 12-year-old daughter, Nahla, with her ex-boyfriend, model Gabriel Aubry.
