Hallmark Channel livestreams Corning’s Centerway Square. How to watch the Christmas Cam
Hallmark Channel’s Christmas Cam returned to the charming appearance of Corning's historic Centerway Square this holiday season.
Corning's Gaffer District is one of just six cities featured on the Christmas Cam, said Coleen Fabrizi, executive director of the Gaffer District.
“The Hallmark Channel has been a wonderful addition to our Cystal City Christmas lineup,” Fabrizi said. “It also brings people from out of town to Market Street who are big fans of the Hallmark Channel.”
Fabrizi said the livestream camera, facing Centerway Square from the north, went live Nov. 27 and will run daily from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. through Dec. 30.
The livestream camera shows people walking at Centerway among the historic Centerway Square Clock Tower, the city’s official Christmas tree and several other holiday decorations.
The Hallmark Channel's description notes that "it isn’t hard to see why Country Living Magazine named Corning, NY, one of 'America’s 25 Best Small Towns for Christmas.' Some locals even say that if you crinkle your eyes on a snowy day, you will think you are exploring a Christmas snow globe!"

The other five cities where Hallmark has set up a camera are Harbor Springs, Michigan, Frisco, Texas, Bethlehem, Pa., Mystic, Conn., Ashville, North Carolina.
The Christmas Cams are a part of Hallmark’s annual “Countdown to Christmas,” at christmas-cams.hallmarkchannel.com/town/corning-ny
Corning is also getting in the holiday spirit with expanded skating hours at the Nasser Civic Center Ice Rink from Friday, Dec. 22 through Monday, Jan. 1.
