Halloween Festival Featuring Thousands of Lights and Pumpkins Rolls Into Dallas
An interactive Halloween experience the likes of which Dallas/Fort Worth has never seen is rolling into town this month.
Howell Farms in Arlington is hosting Pumpkin Nights, a unique festival experience featuring more than 3,000 artistically hand-carved real and synthetic pumpkins.
“Pumpkin Nights is not your usual Halloween festival. We're a fall festival and so much more than that,” Marielle Croudo, product manager and experience designer for Pumpkin Nights, told WFAA. “Guests actually get to embark on a quest, and they walk through seven magical pumpkin lands that are all illuminated.”
She’s not kidding. Don’t expect to find a corn maze, haunted house, or regular old pumpkin patch here!
Each distinct “Pumpkin Land” has a festive spirit and a guide that will escort guests, A.K.A. “heroes,” through a magical quest as they discover the spirit of Halloween. The journey begins with a walk through the Pumpkin Passage, a pumpkin tunnel with 600 hand-carved jack-o-lanterns, followed by a quest to discover seven immersive adventures featuring pumpkin pirates, buried treasure, 40-foot Dragon made of pumpkins, and more.
Once they’re done exploring, guests are invited to stay for a fire show, outdoor movie, food, drinks, and the best in autumn revelry. It’s the ultimate family date night.
“There's little surprises and delights here and there, everywhere," Croudo told the local news station.
