What's the most popular Halloween costume in Arizona? Well, that's a question Boohoo, an online clothing store, tried to answer by researching the most googled Halloween costumes in each state over the past month in both the pop culture and classic categories.

In Arizona, the top pop culture costume was Poison Ivy, which also ranked as the fifth most popular costume in the United States, while the most popular "classic" Halloween costume was a ghost.

Nationwide, Harley Quinn was the most searched-for pop culture costume in the country, while the most popular "traditional" costume was a witch.

What are the top Halloween costumes for 2022?

Here are the top five most-searched for Halloween costumes in the United States:

• First: Harley Quinn was searched for the most by 13 states.

• Second: Chucky was searched for the most in 9 states.

• Third: Top Gun was searched for the most in 6 states.

• Fourth: 'Stranger Things costume' and 'Minion Costumes' were searched for the most in five states.

• Fifth: Poison Ivy and 'Hocus Pocus costume' were searched the most for in four states.

The top five classic Halloween costumes included:

• A witch which was searched for the most in 20 states.

• A fairy which was searched for the most in seven states.

• A pirate costume which was searched for the most in three states.
