Halloween In OC 2020: Urban Legends Haunts OC Fairgrounds
COSTA MESA, CA — Yes. It's true. Most traditional Halloween experiences are canceled or restricted in 2020.
The OC Fairgrounds has a solution for you. Urban Legends Haunt provides a new and innovative opportunity for Halloween revelers and scare seekers to experience the fun of the season, while safely social distancing.
The experience will weave together the scariest urban legend tales through immersive experiences and atmospheric driven scenes to bring suspense and terror to the guest experience.
From the safety of their own vehicles, guests will be guided in groups through a clearly defined course of four immersive show zones.

In each show zone, guests will be required to turn off their vehicles to safely experience each thrilling story.
Full of live performances, immersive sets, dazzling special effects and much more, Urban Legends Haunt will be a terrifyingly fun and entertaining Halloween adventure.
Urban Legends Haunt is creatively led by Josh Randall, a veteran haunt creator and producer, who has been one the leading voices in this community for the past 10 years with innovative haunts like “BLACKOUT”, “The Purge: Breakout” and “Fear The Night”, “INSIDIOUS VR: Into The Further”, San Francisco’s “Hell In The Armory”, and private haunts for celebrities like Skrillex, Queens of the Stone Age, and many others.

Not in spite of COVID restrictions but because of them. I’m sure we’ve all had incredibly scary moments while in the perceived safety of our own car, and I’m so excited for the audience to come and find out all the spooky stuff we have in store for them!”
Community Discounts, Themed Nights & Little Legends Night (A spooktacular car parade)
Special discount days will be offered on Wednesdays to honor our community heroes: Teachers, Law Enforcement/Military, Nurses, and Firefighters. Additional themed nights will take place on Thursdays and Sundays, including Classic Car Club night, employee appreciation nights, local college and non-profit nights, and more. Additionally, a special Little Legends Night will be offered for families with children under 13 to enjoy a less scary Halloween experience on October 31 from 5pm to 7pm. We ask guests to come dressed up and deck out their vehicles for a spooktacular parade! There will be covid safe goody bags of packaged candy and all participants must remain in their cars to participate. Merchandise & Food Packages
From Urban Legends Haunt branded shirts and hats, to face masks and vehicle collectables, Urban Legends Haunt merchandise can be purchased online. In addition, fair food vendor favorites are available for purchase such as Mom’s Bake Shoppe cookie buckets and brownies, Olde Tyme Ice Cream bars, giant turkey legs and corn dogs, and much more. Guests must order food online when purchasing an event ticket and it will be ready for everyone in the car at check-in on the night of your experience.
Safety Measures
Advanced safety measures are being taken following the CDC, State and local guidelines, including daily health screenings and body temperature checks, routine cleaning and sanitizing along with COVID-19 testing for all team members. All team members, including monsters, are required to wear masks and social distance at all times. Guests are also required to stay in their vehicles at all times during the experience and wear masks if they choose to roll their windows down to fully enjoy the immersive experience. The entire event is outside in the open air.
WHEN: Urban Legends Haunt will run 24 nights - Wednesday to Sunday evenings from October 1 through November 1.

Limited reservations are available per time session and guests are encouraged to buy in advance to reserve their date and time session before they sell out. General admission starts at $49.99 per vehicle (up to five people) on select nights, with VIP and larger vehicle tickets (six to nine people) also available. Group caravan discounts are also available for caravans of 10 or cars.
