The month of October is filled with fun events for all ages in Shreveport and Bossier City and you won't want to miss out on all of the fun! From zombie walks to fall festivals to Halloween movies under the stars, here's all of the spooky events going on in Shreveport and Bossier City.

Tuesday, October 11

Nightmare on Texas Street: "Practical Magic" Date Night at RFC - This dinner and a movie experience features an elegant buffet dinner with a cash bar, a screening of the 1998 film "Practical Magic" starring Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman with trivia and prize giveaways to end the evening. The event begins at 6 p.m. and tickets can be purchased at the Robinson Film Center website.

Thursday, October 13

BPCC Theatre Presents "Dracula" at Bossier Parish Community College - The BPCC have conjured up a wickedly good version of the classic vampire thriller and you won't want to miss out on the fun. Tickets are $15 each and can be purchased at the BPCC Theatre page on the Ticket Source website. The show will run from Thursday, October 13 - Sunday, October 23 at the Stephen W. Slaughter Theatre (Building C) located at 6220 E. Texas St. in Bossier City.

SBC Zombie Walk 2022: Recover Your Life at the East Bank District & Plaza - Get ready to shake those rattling bones and walk for a cause sponsored by LifeShare, Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana, Feeding America and the Council on Alcoholism & Drug Abuse of Northwest Louisiana. The walk will take place from 4 - 9 p.m. and includes a costume contest, door prizes, live music, dance competitions, games, vendors, food trucks and more. The East Bank District & Plaza in located at the 600 Block of Barksdale Blvd. in Bossier City.

2022 Pumpkin Shine on Line - The 30th annual pumpkin shine on Line is back with hundreds of glowing jack-o-lanterns lighting up Betty Virginia. There will be music and performances by local school choirs, cheer and dance teams and more. Local judges will announce the prize winners at 7:30 p.m. This event will begin at 11 a.m. at Betty Virginia Park located at 3901 Fairfield Ave. in Shreveport.

Twilight Talkies: "Ghostbusters" at the R.W. Norton Art Gallery - Experience the magic of the 1984 classic Ghostbusters under the stars on the front lawn of the Norton Art Gallery. Local food trucks Hot Dawg Hut, Larry P's Boiling Pot and Dripp Donuts will be on site starting at 6 p.m. with the movie beginning at 7:30 p.m. The R.W. Norton Art Gallery is located at 4747 Creswell Ave. in Shreveport.

Louisiana Classics Auto Club Trunk Or Treat at BeauxJax Crafthouse - Break out your best Halloween costumes and head to BeauxJax Crafthouse Hurricane Alley in the downtown Bossier City East Bank District. There will be music, candy, fellowship, fun and some of the best looking classic cars, trucks and hot rods in the area decorated for a different theme. This event will be from Noon - 4 p.m. at 501 Barksdale Blvd. in Bossier City.

Friday, October 28

The Rocky Horror Picture Show Shadow Cast at the Robinson Film Center - Come out to do the Time Warp at RFC! With the film on the big screen, a full shadow cast pantomiming the action and audience participation encouraged - this is sure to be a night of fun leaving you shaking with antici. . . pation! The party starts at 9 p.m. at RFC located at 617 Texas St. in Shreveport.

Trunk or Treat Night Market at the Andress - The resident artists will be hosting a night market along with local vendors for a night of spooky Halloween fun from 6 - 10 p.m. The Andress Artist and Entrepreneur Center is located at 717 Crockett St. in Shreveport.

Welcome to the Upside Down Halloween Show at The Korner Lounge - Halloween is almost here and Shreveport is about to see some Stranger Things at the Korner Lounge! Get ready for a night of frights and fun with performances by Orion Hellspire, Gemini Alexander Brooks, Aalise O'Hara Skyy, Avery X. Brooks and Winter Knight. The drag show begins at 10:30 p.m. and there will be an $8 cover at the door. This is a 21+ event. The Korner Lounge is located at 800 Louisiana Ave. in Shreveport.

Halloween EDM Party at The Missing Link - Come party hosted by Lomax the Grey spinning EDM hits all night long. The show will start at 8 p.m. with a $10 cover. This is an 18+ event. The Missing Link is located at 504 Texas St. Ste. 100 in Shreveport.

Witches Ride through Historic South Highlands - Join the R.W. Norton Art Gallery and Rhino Coffee for a group bike ride through the enchanting south highlands neighborhood. Costumes and decorated bikes are encouraged and all ages are welcome. Meet up with the group at Rhino Coffee at 10 a.m. and end the ride with music and food trucks at the Norton.

Castle Jackson Halloween Party at Bear's - Castle Jackson began as a high school house party in the suburbs and now almost 20 years later they've grown and are throwing a monster mash at Bear's. Seven bands will be keeping the jams going all night long and there will be a costume contest so come out dressed to impress. The party starts at 7 p.m. at Bear's located at 1401 Fairfield Ave. in Shreveport.

Fall Fest 2022 at Bellaire Baptist - Bring the kids out to enjoy a day of carnival games, food, inflatables and candy from 4 - 6 p.m. at the Bellaire Baptist Church located at 4330 Panther Dr. in Bossier City.
