Trunk or Treat at The Star Drive-In
Get started on some Halloween fun a little early! There will be a Trunk or Treat event on Saturday, Oct. 14, from 1 to 5 p.m., at The Star Drive-In, 205 Myricks St., East Taunton. This event is hosted by Mass Wagens, a Volkswagen car community, and they will have a booth set up at the event. Kids are encouraged to wear their Halloween costumes! Lunch specials at Home Plate Bay Street Grill
This week, try out the lunch specials at Home Plate Bay Street Grill, 1094 Bay St., Taunton. Specials this week include fried coconut shrimp, Tuscan mac and cheese, and American chop suey. They’ve also got a chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich, with grilled chicken breast topped with sliced Virginia ham, Swiss cheese, and a honey mustard drizzle, on grilled sourdough bread. The catch of the day is haddock Miranda: fresh haddock pieces in a casserole dish with sauteed spinach and melted mozzarella, garnished with a balsamic glaze.
Fall menu at Baldie’s Craft Pizzeria
Over at Baldie’s Craft Pizzeria, 40 Main St., Lakeville, they’ve rolled out a new fall menu. Their fall dinner menu includes crispy pork belly lettuce wraps, stuffed poblano peppers, short rib tacos, french onion soup, fall salad, a harvest turkey sandwich, fall panko chicken, butternut ravioli, upside down chicken parmigiana pizza, and so much more. The fall dinner menu is available Monday to Friday, from 4 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. There’s also a lunch version of the menu, available Monday to Friday, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Confetti Friend-z at Friendly’s
There’s a new sweet treat in town. Friendly’s has a new variety of their soft-serve Friend-z: confetti! Try one at the Friendly’s in Middleboro, 40 Bedford St.
Cheese pizza deal at Pachinis Pizza
Right now, you can get a cheese pizza deal at Pachinis Pizza, 29 N. Main St., Middleboro. When you spend $40 or more on your order, you’ll get a free small cheese pizza.
