Halsey just chopped off their hair and got a shaggy 80s-style mullet
Halsey is one of those people who can do just about anything. Sing? Of course. Speak out about and campaign for causes they believe in? Yep. Become a viral sensation on TikTok? Already done it. And last but certainly not least, rock every and any hairstyle under the sun? All in a day's work.
We've seen the about-face founder (that's her very own beauty brand, FYI), sport a number of hairdos over the course of their lengthy career. From their marbled skinhead to a rainbow fringed masterpiece (you have to see it to believe it), as said before, they really can pull anything off.
Recently, they've been rocking the long blonde mermaid waves – yes, they're still having a moment – but that was up until yesterday when the singer debuted a brand new look on Instagram. Chop, chop...

So different, right?!
As we can see, Halsey has gone back to the 80s with a shaggy choppy mullet complete with a fringe. Though, unlike Phoebe Dynevor, who completed her hair transformation with a colour change, Halsey is still very much blonde with a darker root.
In the caption, granting us every pre-Christmas wish with the details of their makeup look, they wrote: "return of my mullet. and the nineties-vibes-only red and blue makeup combo. made by color mixing eye paints and lip paints 🤍". We do love a mix of eras all seen within one beauty look.
For the eyes, we can only assume that they would've used the about-face Matte Fluid Eye Paint in Blue Monday, £21. And for the lips, I'm thinking they've opted for the about-face Paint-It Matte Lip Colour in Monarchy, £19.
