'Hamilton' tickets for shows at El Paso's Plaza Theatre in July to go on sale Monday

Single tickets for the Broadway in El Paso show "Hamilton" will go on sale Monday.

Performances of the popular musical will be July 5-16 at the Plaza Theatre.

Tickets will be available at the Plaza Theatre Box Office starting at 8 a.m., with online ticket sales starting at 10 a.m. at www.elpasolive.com/hamilton. Ticket prices will range from $39 to $129, plus fees, with a select number of premium seats from $139 (plus applicable fees) for all performances.

There is a maximum purchase limit of eight tickets per account for the engagement.

“It's tempting to get tickets any way you can," producer Jeffrey Seller said in a news release. "There are many sites and people who are selling overpriced, and in some cases, fraudulent tickets. For the best seats, the best prices and to eliminate the risk of counterfeit tickets, all purchases for the El Paso engagement should be made through Broadway In El Paso’s official ticketing partner, Ticketmaster at www.elpasolive.com/hamilton.”

There will be a lottery for 40 $10 seats for all performances. Details will be announced closer to the engagement.

Hamilton is the story of America then, told by America now.  Featuring a score that blends hip-hop, jazz, R&B and Broadway, the story of the American founding father Alexander Hamilton was written with music and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda, based on a biography by Ron Chernow.

It has won Tony, Grammy and Olivier Awards, the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, and an unprecedented special citation from the Kennedy Center Honors.
