Hampden's MOM's Organic Market workers vote to unionize

Dozens of workers at MOM's Organic Market in Hampden voted Friday night to unionize. It is the latest in a string of pro-labor pushes from employees in the greater Baltimore area. Workers at MOM's Organic Market voted 58 to 5 to join the Teamsters Local Union 570. MOM's employee Kelsey Oppenheimer helped organize the efforts to unionize. She said workers have been striving for better pay, a clear pay structure and more job security.
