"Maura Sullivan, a Marine veteran and former Pentagon official, faced criticism for being both new to the state and voting in general," Am I missing something?? I thought New Hampshire allowed same day voter registration. Is there a residency term requirement?

A historic election would be a congressman who actually represents his district and truly upholds the constitution.

Pretty sure the media are the only ones who care about history being made. Everyone else just wants the best candidate to win.

He is not the first gay to be elected in Congress. There have being gay elected before but they were not opened back in the days.

Personally, I vote for candidates whose positions coincide with my own. I don't care what their lifestyle or marital status is.

Notice we don’t hear about where they stand on issues. It’s all about identity politics.

NEWS YOU WONT FIND ABOUT DEMOCRATS BUT IT IS TRUE:
Scott Wallace, a liberal millionaire candidate running for Congress in Pennsylvania, has been a member of a controversial private club in South Africa that used to discriminate against Jewish and black people and invited controversial speakers, including former head of the Apartheid chemical and biological warfare program. Wallace, grandson of a former vice president who’s running as a Democrat in Pennsylvania's 1st Congressional District against Republican incumbent Rep. Brian Fitzpatrick, has been living in South Africa since the mid-2000s and has called it his “second country.”

During his time in the country, sometime around 2014, Wallace became a member of the Kelvin Grove club in Cape Town, an exclusive members-only club whose motto is “Respecting The Past, Embracing The Future.”

The past that the club say it respects is notorious. Due to its strict membership policies, including asking two existing members to vouch for you, the club effectively barred Jewish and black people from becoming members for decades.

    Wow, sounds alot like Klan.

Why does that have anything to do with a candidate? It should be about how the voters feel about the person's ability to do the job.

An entire article about an election and not a single mention about either candidate's policy positions. Wow.

Two elements that have nothing to do with governing competence. Congratulations on focusing on the wrong thing to fix your state.
