Handgun found at Arkansas primary school
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A student at Wynne Primary School in Arkansas reportedly brought a handgun to campus Wednesday morning, school officials say.
According to the Wynne School District, the gun was found and confiscated before the school day started. School resource officers handled the situation.
Because there was no threat to students or staff, no lockdown was required.
The school district will cooperate with law enforcement as the investigation continues.
