Handmade items to be sold at Mount Zion's annual bazaar

Nov. 6—LAGRANGE — Mount Zion Lutheran Church's Annual Bazaar is scheduled for 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Saturday.

All items are hand-made and include home décor, holiday items, outdoor wares and some clothing items. Artisans make jewelry, birdhouses, glass creations, paper items and toys. They knit and crochet. They paint. They carve. They sew.

This year a quilt, with little red trucks in one of the patches, will be available for silent auction bids. The church's GALS group cut, patched, knotted and bound the holiday-themed queen-sized bed covering. Proceeds from this project will go toward the proposed pavilion at the church.

A bake sale and lunch — hot chicken sandwiches, hot dogs, sloppy joes, chips and pop — will be included in the day's events.

The church is located at 797 N. Detroit St.
