Clips of Davis sharing her controversial opinions have been circulating on TikTok and Twitter in recent months.

Like Tate, she has tapped into creating controversial, misogynistic content as a way to grow her audience.

So who is Pearl, and how did she achieve notoriety?

Who is Hannah Pearl Davis?

Hannah Pearl Davis, who goes by Pearl, is a 26-year-old YouTuber known for her anti-feminist content, with her misogynistic viewpoint even earning her the nickname “the female Andrew Tate.”

She has gained a large number of followers in recent months, since Andrew Tate was jailed in late December (shortly before his arrest, Tate appeared as a guest on Davis’s YouTube channel).

On December 31, Pearl had 960,000 YouTube subscribers, but at the time of writing, she had 1.5 million, according to Social Blade. In addition, she had 930,000 followers on TikTok before being banned.

Ironically, her mother previously served on the board of directors for UN Women USA, which supports the United Nations’ gender-equality programs, as per Insider.

Davis has previously credited right-wing political commentators Ben Shapiro and Thomas Sowell as her inspiration for wanting to enter a career in media.

Davis is from Chicago, Illinois, and has nine siblings. She currently lives in London.

Controversial comments

Davis’s videos have gone viral on TikTok, including one in which she questions if a woman could be a good wife if she gains 100 pounds after getting married.

As well as Davis’s own videos, clips of her appearing on podcasts are also circulating on the app. One sees her questioned by YouTuber Ethan Klein over a previous claim that stories of slavery have been embellished.

Another viral clip sees Davis tell Klein that she believes divorce should be banned and that “the majority of divorces nowadays” occur when “the girl just feels like leaving.”

She also told Klein she believes women shouldn’t have the right to vote.
