What happened to the Comcast building on Lincoln Road in Hattiesburg?
Anyone who has tried recently to visit the Comcast customer service location on Lincoln Road may have been surprised to find the place is closed. So where do customers go to get a new cable box or router? Where do they get help with their bills?
Comcast officials announced they recently opened an Xfinity retail location at 6169 U.S. 98 West, Suite 8, near Salad Station in front of Academy Sports.
The new location allows customers to take a look at new Xfinity products and services or have their account needs met. The store features several counters with Xfinity sales consultants will be ready to help.
“We’ve made it easier than ever for our customers to make changes to their accounts, swap equipment, or test-drive our products and services,” Comcast Regional Senior Vice President Jason Gumbs said in a news release. “We’re proud to bring this interactive environment to our customers in Hattiesburg, and to offer a simpler and more convenient retail experience.”
The Xfinity store is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Mondays through Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays.
