Greenhill Pet Parade

A festival staple is the Greenhill Pet Parade, offering an opportunity for attendees to bring their furry friends and dress them up. The parade, sponsored by the Greenhill Humane Society, will take place at 9 a.m. Saturday in the Market Alley.

All parade participants who wear a costume will receive 10% off their purchase at Paws Pet Shop. The best-dressed pet will win a $50 gift card.

Fundraising efforts

One of the highlights of the festival is its fundraising efforts.

For the 2023 festival, Market Fest will be giving back to Catholic Community Services of Lane County, which has worked to address poverty in Lane County since 1952.

A Burrito Benefit Breakfast at 9:30 a.m. Sunday gives proceeds to CCS. Tickets cost $28 per person. Market Fest also accepts donations that will go toward CCS for those who can't attend the breakfast.
