‘Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!’ Will Air on ABC This Month... but Just Once!
Charlie Brown movies are a holiday staple. If you missed the showings of It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown, A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving or A Charlie Brown Christmas on TV this year, you have one more shot to catch the Peanuts crew before the calendar reads 2020.
Happy New Year, Charlie Brown! airs on ABC on Thursday, December 26 at 8pm CST, according to a press release. While this flick isn't quite as popular as the other titles, it still delivers all the heartwarming feels of the series, while teaching an important lesson.
In Happy New Year, Charlie Brown!, good ol' Charlie still has some homework to finish over Christmas break. And... let's just say that he's been procrastinating and time is running out. Now, it's the night of Peppermint Patty's big New Year's Eve bash and Charlie must somehow finish Leo Tolstoy’s War and Peace (yikes!) in time to make the party and earn a dance with Peppermint. Will he make it? You'll have to tune in the the day after Christmas and see!
