As the beach music scene slowly roars back to life, events galore are being planned for the days, weeks and months ahead.

In Berlin, the Ocean Downs Casino has placed tickets on sale for a concert next month featuring hard-rock vocalist Vince Neil. The venerable Motley Crue frontman will perform on an outdoor stage at the casino at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 7 ($65).

He has brought his solo act to Delmarva several times throughout the years, including appearances at Seacrets in Ocean City and the former Baycenter at Ruddertowne in Dewey Beach.

In Ocean City, the organizers of OC BikeFest announced Friday that another massively popular hard-rock act will headline its main stage at the Inlet later this year. Disturbed will perform Thursday, Sept. 15 (with ticket prices starting at $65).

Disturbed currently has seven other concert dates scheduled for its summer mini-tour, all of which are major rock festivals.
