“The MCCFA and business leaders are looking forward to continued collaboration with [Radisson owners] LW Dayton LLC, Lockwood Development Partners LLC and are excited to support the implementation of the Hard Rock Hotels brand, said Pam Plageman, MCCFA executive director/CEO.

“We understand there is much work to do to get to the finish line here, but the announcement is encouraging, aligns with the Dayton Convention Center renovation/investment, and the quality of headquarter hotel that is expected by planners and our local community,” she said.

“It will be great for convention business,” Gudorf said. “It will be a destination hotel for visitors into our community so when we have more people staying in our hotels then they also eat in our restaurants, drink in our brew pubs, shop in our retail shops.”
