8. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) BARCELONA COACH, QUIQUE SETIEN, SAYING:

"The reality is that we will face a team that is ranked third, is playing on its turf, and will make things difficult for us. Of course we will have to play at an extraordinary level if we want to move the match forward. If we do that, evidently it will not be definite, in one case or another, but the impulse on confidence and the fact there are less games left, always is a positive element for us."

9. PLAYERS WARMING UP

10. SAMUEL UMTITI ON PITCH

11. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) BARCELONA COACH, QUIQUE SETIEN, SAYING:

"I think it's worst, not only for Barca, but for everyone because with two matches you have a possibility to resolve an accident that can occur in one of them, now you are risking it and it's true that we would all like to play double games, but the circumstances are what they are and this is what UEFA has decided and we have to adapt. There are many new circumstances we are experiencing and this is another one of those. That's it. We have to think things are going to be like this and prepare mentally to avoid mistakes in each game we play."

13. SUAREZ AND SERGIO BUSQUETS IN RONDO

14. PLAYERS ON

15. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) BARCELONA COACH, QUIQUE SETIEN, SAYING:

"It's true he is better all the time, but we have to see. I need to speak to him to see what we decide because as I understand it, he is not prepared to go the whole 90 minutes. We will talk and decide whether he starts off, like in the last game, or he plays later on."

16. PLAYERS TRAINING

17. MESSI IN RONDO WITH TEAM MATES

18. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) BARCELONA COACH, QUIQUE SETIEN, SAYING:

"It's not easy winning all the games and keeping up the advantage. It's possible to lose a point in a game or lose, but it is also possible the rival will do that too. All the games, as we are seeing, are going to be complicated, there's no huge superiority between any of them, although it's true our match against Mallorca was relatively comfortable, but I see everyone has to work to win and everyone has the possibility to win their matches."

19. ANTOINE GRIEZMANN IN RONDO

20. (SOUNDBITE) (Spanish) BARCELONA COACH, QUIQUE SETIEN, SAYING:

"What are we going to say about Leo? Seven hundred goals ... it would be good for us if he did it in the upcoming game because it will be a pitch and a rival where we will need all our skill to win, undoubtedly those are numbers that are only attainable by the chosen ones and hopefully he will hit 700 and many more later."

STORY: Barcelona coach Quique Setien prepared his team on Thursday (June 18) for a tough match against Sevilla who he said would "make things difficult" for his side which will have to play at an "extraordinary level to move the match forward" at the Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan stadium on Friday (June 19).

Setien also commented on the Champion League's new format after UEFA decided that the quarters, semis and final of the competition will be decided through a one-off game.

"I think it's worst, not only for Barca, but for everyone because with two matches you have a possibility to resolve an accident that can occur in one of them... but the circumstances are what they are and this is what UEFA has decided and we have to adapt," he said.

The Barça manager said he was still unclear whether Luis Suarez would start against Sevilla after his return from a knee injury sustained in January.

"I need to speak to him to see what we decide because as I understand it, he is not prepared to go the whole 90 minutes. We will talk and decide whether he starts off, like in the last game, or he plays later on," he said.

Setien was also hopeful Leo Messi would score his 700th goal against Seville on Friday.

"It would be good for us if he did it in the upcoming game because it will be a pitch and a rival where we will need all our skill to win... hopefully he will hit 700 and many more later," he said.
